In my opinion poverty is another problem we are faced with that can be attributed to political decisions. Politics creates poverty and exacerbates its problems. The problems of poverty are a human creation, amenable to a human solution. Yet political decisions are made to maintain the boundaries between the rich and poor. Political decisions are made to starve important social investments like health care, schools and affordable housing; yet massive tax cuts are given to large corporations and the wealthy. There are examples all over the world of unjust political decisions made to benefit politicians and their wealthy friends while the poor and needy are left to fend for themselves.
Industrialist nation’s politicians (who are human beings) are spending money lavishly to construct weapons to kill millions of other human beings. In my opinion there is no exception/distinction in the eyes of Almighty Heavenly Father, we are all human beings and need to be treated and cared for as such. When we break Gods laws we will be punished by his full authority. He is the ultimate creator of creation and he also holds the power to destroy our oceans, land and our very being. Innocent human beings are being punished through disease, hurricanes, flooding, drought, famine and other factors of nature. These sufferings are as a result of politicians refusal to govern nations without Gods laws in mind.
In my opinion politicians are disturbing elements of society because they are not making political decisions with integrity or with Gods guidelines in mind. The innocent are suffering as a result of their nations leaders, who are the ones committing sin with their unjust actions. Nations and their leaders have to stop the drive and greed for nuclear weapons and pursue the well being of human beings. I believe no one should have nuclear weapons.
