The Boys & Girls Tutorial Club meets early every Saturday morning to bring together the young and old in an inspiring example of community spirit. It provides everyone from toddlers to pre-teens a place in which they can get a nutritious breakfast, engage in group discussions with fellow members in the community and provides the kids with homework help in a variety of tutorial groups. All of this has been made possible through the help and support of a diverse group of volunteers ranging from an Olympic athlete to former teachers and principals and the support of St. John the Divine Parish. Mr. Mahmud Hussein is very proud to support and sponsor this extremely effective and worthwhile cause to help kids of all ages get an extra helping hand to achieve their highest potential and goals. In recognition of his efforts in preaching the message of peace, education and the elimination of poverty throughout the world, Mr. Hussein was very humbled and honoured to receive an award from the community of St. John the Divine Parish in commemoration of his efforts. He believes that by treating eachother with the same respect, love and compassion we will stop discriminating eachother for our differences and become a worldwide family celebrating world peace.
