I have faced and overcome many challenges in my life without fear and without apprehension but recently I faced a situation that left me very scared. I was in the African Safari and was surrounded by ferocious animals including tigers, lions, wolves, and snakes that were all hungry and closing in on me. They seemed intent on killing me and I feared that my life would come to an end right then and there as they moved closer and closer. I closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them I was safe in my bed and I realized that it was all nothing more than a dream. In my life I have had many dreams as I’m sure you have, but this recent dream made me think about dreams and their deeper meaning.
When I was dreaming about the African Safari, I felt that my body and soul was there experiencing that moment. But I realized later that I had nothing to fear because although our bodies are mortal our souls will never die and are immortal. I believe that when you die your entire being, body and soul, is carried up to a transit point where you will be judged for your actions on Earth. I believe God has the power to make that ultimate judgment of our soul according to our acts and deeds. From the day I was born to the day that I die, between the spirit of time, there is evidence being gathered for my final trial in front of God. I have reached this conclusion through the knowledge of life experience and the wisdom we all gain when we dream and let our minds block out all the distractions and noise of the world and focus on what is truly in our heart and soul.
The state of the world today is unpredictable, although there have been sanctions and treaties made to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons, it continues to be a global concern. Iran could attack Israel tomorrow and vice versa if tensions between these two countries remain the same. But, what would be the use of the power either country would gain and the tremendous amount of bloodshed caused, if ultimately their souls are in God’s hands. If someone chooses to challenge my position, I must state that while these are only my opinions, you cannot deny that people would think more carefully about the actions they make if they believed that the judgment of their souls were at stake.
